Nebraska Increases Series Lead to 4-1

Nebraska Receiving Championship Trophy

On Saturday, June 23, 2012 the Nebraska 8-man team with a strong showing on defense was able to shutout the visiting Kansas team. Nebraska got a quick lead with 13-0 after the first quarter and continued to dominate throughout the rest of the game. The final score of the game was Nebraska 25, Kansas 0. This increase the series led in Nebraska’s favor by winning the last four games in a row. Nebraska lost the first game in the series.

35th Annual Sertoma 8-Man All-Star Game
West 47, East 22

Captains for 2012

On Saturday, June 16th the 35th Annual Sertoma 8-Man All-Star game took place at Hastings College in Hastings. The game was host to some of the best 8-man football players in the state. The West team started off with a 15 – 0 lead at halftime and extend the lead to 21 – 0 before the East was able to score. While the East was able to cut the lead down to one touchdown, they were never able to catch up with the West.

4th Annual Nebraska vs. Kansas All-Star Game

Nebraska Improves Series to 3-1

On Saturday June 25, 2011 the Nebraska 8-Man football team competed in the 4th Annual Pinnacle Bank Nebraska vs. Kansas All-Star Game. The athletes traveled to Hays, KS on Wednesday, June 22 to start practicing for the game. On Wednesday evening, both teams were invited to a special program and dinner with NFL great, Gale Sayers. Gale Sayers spoke to the athletes on hand and signed autographs afterward. The team continued to practice and had activities throughout the week up until the game on Saturday evening.
